I am posting a new post to my blog. Really. Facebook is just killing this blog slowly, but I loved these pictures so much I had to post them. Last night at Macaroni Grill one of my daughters and I were goofing around drawing on the paper table cloth at the restaurant. Yeah, I know, it’s cool that they let you draw on the table cloth. So anyway, here is my version and my daughter’s version of my version.

Reese, gets up, goes to the bathroom and get’s into our bed for a snuggle. Shortly after Reese arrives the singing starts in Kiera’s bedroom. She sings and sings and sings.

It’s really quite funny and sweet all at the same time. Reese thinks it’s silly.

They have been talking about it for a while know. They turn 4 this month. Wow, how time flies. I LOVE Disneyland. I used to go there a lot before I was married. Heck we spent our “honeymoon” in Disneyland with family and friends. Yes, I know it wasn’t really a honeymoon. Needless to say, I haven’t even looked at ticket prices since. WOW!!!!  The economy must be good for these guys because they charge a fortune for tickets.

I have a secret weapon though. His name is Sheafe. He is my best friend and he is Mr. Travel. If there are deal to be found, he will find it. Hey Sheafe, no pressure.

Now, whether we actually go or not will be another thing.

While I like to think each day is more exciting then the next, truthfully, they all feel a little bit the same. A typical day in oour house starts with the girls waking us up. Those days that they sleep in are so few and far between that we truly feel a treat has visited upon us when it happens. Once we are all awake it is time for morning hot chocalate and a couple of episodes of Maggie and the ferocious beast. For those of you who have not seen this show, it is the ONLY kid show for 3 and 4 year olds I actually like to watch with the girls. Very cute and good stories. Two thumbs up from this household.

Moving on to the rest of the day, it is routine after routine. Julia takes the girls to school or gymnastics and a visit to the libray or the dog park may be in order. On days when the weather permits, we hit the park that has a sand box. Anything that resembles a beach gets our girls very excited. Summertime brings a lot of pool time as well.

These are our days. The kids are happy, healthy and enjoying the exploration of their skills, social behaviours and time to test their limits. We are happy that they are happy and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Okay, one thing I would love to change. Girls stop fighting your poor parents every time it is bed time. Can we please have ONE night where you do not have a fit when it is time to go to bed? Once? Please.

Here is a nice picture of me and my lovely wife taken near the Northern Tip of the North Island of New Zealand in the dead of winter (in New Zealand). It was a bit weird going from the warm of Tahiti to the cooler climate so quickly.
