Having twins is always entertaining. While I like to think each day is more exciting then the next, truthfully, they all feel a little bit the same. A typical day in oour house starts with the girls waking us up. Those days that they sleep in are so few and far between that we truly feel a treat has visited upon us when it happens. Once we are all awake it is time for morning hot chocalate and a couple of episodes of Maggie and the ferocious beast. For those of you who have not seen this show, it is the ONLY kid show for 3 and 4 year olds I actually like to watch with the girls. Very cute and good stories. Two thumbs up from this household.

Moving on to the rest of the day, it is routine after routine. Julia takes the girls to school or gymnastics and a visit to the libray or the dog park may be in order. On days when the weather permits, we hit the park that has a sand box. Anything that resembles a beach gets our girls very excited. Summertime brings a lot of pool time as well.

These are our days. The kids are happy, healthy and enjoying the exploration of their skills, social behaviours and time to test their limits. We are happy that they are happy and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Okay, one thing I would love to change. Girls stop fighting your poor parents every time it is bed time. Can we please have ONE night where you do not have a fit when it is time to go to bed? Once? Please.
