Hello from Tahiti…..

We are sailing away from Bora Bora as I write this. Wow! Beautiful. I must see the movie South Pacific after this. The people are fantastic and the weather is awsome. Even for Winter in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Farty Pants Twins are now officially water kids. This is were we spend our time. We had a 16 hour delay in our flight out of Los Angeles International to Tahiti to start the trip. That was fun. We finally made it to Tahiti with a few hours to spare to board the ship we are on. In case you are playing at home, we are on the M/S Paul Gauguin.
On Satruday we are off to New Zealand a week of “Lord of the RIngs” traveling. I can’t wait. We are even throwing in a few trips to some farms and vernal pools so the kids can have their own experiences as well. We are a party of 12 family members right now, with 10 of us going to New Zealand.
My posting access is VERY limited so I do not know when I can post again. I promise lot’s of pics and trip notes upon my return.
Oh and YES I know I suck!

Sitting in a hammock, on a tropical island, under the palm trees, ocean breeze blowing, sound of the surf, alcohol drink in hand…but with limited internet access…I could think of a few worse things.

I’m warning you, by the way, don’t get your hopes up for South Pacific.
You just keep rubbing it in. Regardless, I’m glad somebody gets to go on an amazing trip. I just wish it was me.
I believe it’s considered impolite to swear at people on their own blogs, so I’ll just say nothing.

The movie may be quite dated, but you’ll certainly recognize Moorea as Bali Hai, & not computerized, either. Go ahead; sing! I did, frequently, especially from the pool, waiting for one or the other FPT to jump from the edge to me:-)
