Well happy bonus blogging day. I just made that up.
So, it is February 29th. Happy Birthday to all the leap year babies. Is it really true you only age every four years? How cool would that be, unless you are waiting to turn 21. It would take about 80 years or so to do that, right?
So, I am out of town working and I will be heading home today to spend the weekend at my house with my lovely wife and the farty pants twins. We will be packing to go to HAWAII!!!!!! That’s right, it is our annual Hawaii trip with the family. We are off to Maui on Tuesday morning. So, if you are on Maui for the next 10 days or so starting Tuesday, let’s play some golf. Or maybe, drink a foo foo drink on the beach.
It shouldn’t be hard to find me, I’m the one surrounded by kids who looks out of place all pasty white. Just yell “Hey Dad2twins” is that you beached like a whale. I’ll answer and we can go from there.
When I get back from Hawaii I get to have a root canal done. I mean literally, when I get back. Like 12 hours after I’m back, I’m in the Dentist chair. Fun for me. This will be #2. Actually, it is a pretty easy procedure if you have the right guy doing it. The last one didn’t hurt at all. I was ready to be out for a week in pain and then I realized, there would be no pain because he takes the nerve out. DUH!
So, I know you feel sorry for me. No, not the Hawaii part, just the root canal part. I will make sure I post a couple of times while I’m over there. Just a little jab, jab to all of you who are living in the snow country. I’m nice that way, I know. My plan is to send you a little bit of warmth until spring arrives for you. Really!
So, don’t be hating on me. My kids will be pissed if you do. I’ll send them to your house for a little farty pants torture. Though, I don’t think our government calls it torture, so I guess I’m lucky. So behave.

Thanks for making me jealous. Suddenly I feel like my quick trip to Southern California this weekend is irrelevant. I wanna go to Maui.

Oh my god. You lucky, lucky bastard. Have a mai tai for me, will you? And have a great time playing on the beach – just make sure you use lots of sunscreen. No wrinkles for dad2twins.

Sure…while I’ll be sitting here with more snow. I want to go back to Hawaii. Are you staying on Maui only? Lahaina?
