Let’s talk coffee…

I have been struggling to find things to talk about lately on my blog. I wouldn’t call it blogstipation, but I do need a little fiber in my blog diet. with that being said, I was sitting here thinking of something to write about when I realized I was staring blankly at the screen with my favorite cup of coffee in my hand.

Coffee is my elixir of life. It is what gets me going in the mornings. I love a great cup of coffee and their is nothing more disappointing then a bad cup of coffee. Which, by coincidence, is what I had with my pot de creme dessert last night at a fancy French restaurant. So as I sit here this morning thinking about something to write I realized it was right there in my hand. My morning coffee.

sku_maj_l.jpgI am a big fan of dark, strong, robust coffee. I believe that if you can see through your coffee to the bottom of the cup, it is not strong enough. So my coffee of choice is Peet’s Major Dickason’s blend. It is strong and tasty and I like it. But, I am not wed to it. So, if you are a coffee drinker, tell me your favorite so I can to a little comparison and branch out. I am always game for a new taste challenge.

Oh, and by the way, over on the right side of my blog you will see a new widget from blogrush. This is a pretty cool new tool that can help promote your blog virally around the net. If you click on my widget and sign up, then you can start promoting your blog as well. I have seen a remarkable jump in traffic since joining them. The best part is, as people click from your site to blogrush, you get more referrals to your site. It doesn’t cost a thing and you will be pleasantly surprised at your traffic increase. So click on my blogrush tab and go sign up. That way I get credit for referring you and you get more traffic.

  3. Ahhh coffee. Nothing beats fresh roasted coffee. So, go to some place like http://www.sweetmarias.com and buy some green beans. Then go and get a hot air popper and start roasting. You’ll be surprised how much better coffee tastes when it is fresh.

  4. After being such a good lil mama when preggers, I was looking forward to going back to coffee upon thier arrival. It has gone to an all new level and become an obsession! I got an espresso machine after the twinks arrived, and it gets very little rest. My new coffee of choise is Trader Joe’s Five Country Organic - Espresso Roast. Yum!
