Last year at this time, we took the kids to the snow and they hated it. They cried, screamed, kicked and froze. This year we made progress. They said they were cold but they liked it a little better than last year. No freak outs or tantrums.

We’re planning to take our one-year-old to the snow for the very first time in the coming weeks. We hope he likes it. We’re not holding our breath though.
Oh you Californians who have to “take your kids to the snow.” I take my kids to the snow every day when I push them out the back door on the way to school.
The girls are adorable all bundled up for their snow fun.
Editor’s note eh? was that to inform the reader or remind yourself?
Kidding, honest…
We are planning to take our twins to check out snow for the first time in the next couple of weeks. We picked up all the gear - boots, snow bibs, snow gloves and such thinking if they stay dry and warm they just might like it. I already don’t have high expectations though and after reading your post even less so, but hey we’re obviously gluttons for punishment and will give it a try anyways.
