Maybe I’m just more liberal than I thought, but with all the terrible stuff that is going on in the world, does anyone really care that a certain fictional character is gay? Why are so many people upset about this and not about the real things that actually might affect us? (editors note: there are way too many of these bad things to even choose one to link to.)

I’m guessing Robert Knight probably thinks that all of the bad things in the world are God’s punishment for the existence of gay wizards.

It’s all about where you live. I haven’t heard anything about it, outside of reading it on MSN. Nobody out here is making a big deal about it.
It’s kind of sad that the media directs our attention to petty little things that don’t matter. Really? A fictional character? C’mon. With the presidential election coming up, we have a HELL of a lot more to worry about.
