Um, we’re sorry.

As you may remember, if you are a regular reader of this little piece of blogdom, we moved to a new house in April. We love torture around here, since this was our second move in less than 6 months. With a newly constructed house comes a blank slate with regard to the back yard. Just a dirt lot. Oh, and during the summer it gets real hot up here in the Placer County area. Today it is supposed to be 107 or hotter.
Because the girls NEED a backyard to play in, we are putting one in. Yesterday they finished the forms for the new concrete patio. They told us they would be back in the morning to put the concrete in. What they didn’t say was that they would be here at 5:00 AM. Yes, 5:00AM!!!! WTF??????????
The concrete truck showed up at 5:45AM. They say because it get’s so hot, so fast around here that they wanted to start early.
It looks really nice right now in our back yard, but I think we have some ass-kissing to do with our neighbors.
We do, don’t we?

OMG! I don’t know about the neighbors, but I would have been peeved if workers showed up at my house that early. WOO! Rise. And. Shine.

Yes, you owe them. I know, because our old neighbors had construction starting at 6am, and that pissed us off.
btw… the fun continues. We lost Hoku today.

I think my new neighbor guy hates me, He’s very obsessive about his yard, cuts at an angle and trims perfect circles around his trees in the back with a pair of shiny scissors, I on the other hand am the opposite, My grass gets cuts and my garbage goes out.. and that’s about the extent of it.. I’ll get better come winter..
