Um, I’m just wondering. What happened to June and July? Summer is almost over and I don’t remember giving permission to Mother Nature. Fall is obviously her favorite season because she is rushing through Summer faster than I would like.
Oh, if you’re in the area this weekend, come on by for a BBQ. We are hanging out in the Bay Area this week house sitting. Big Pool, Big House, Big Yard.
Ton’s of fun for the Farty Pants Twins. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it’s all about the water all of the time. I check my kids for gills and scales every day. Just waiting for those little guppies to start growing them.

Throwing a party in the place you’re house sitting? Nice. If I can convince my OB that flying is actually OK in the 3rd trimester, I’ll be there.
I also thought I’d mention: Gillyweed is excellent for promotion of gill growth. Look for it it in that very far back corner of the Whole Foods. You know which one I mean…
It’s still hot, hot, hot here, but I’m still very aware of summer’s end because school starts in exactly two weeks. Normally school starting is a happy occasion [at least for me], but this year my baby is starting kindergarten and I’m just a little teary-eyed over it.
This has been bothering me too.
By the way - I hope you are making a lot of money off of those ads. Those bastards keep getting in my way.
(Clearly, I am not against advertising on blogs or making money. I just don’t like the placement. Unless you are making a shitload of money and then I want them too.)
This comment is a bit belated, but I know what you mean. This summer went by in a flash. My kids are already back in school, which is insane.
I’m sorry that I missed the backyard BBQ.
