For those of you who grew up on Speed Racer (Shut up, I’m not that old) and more importantly wanted to take Trixie out behind the race shop and do god knows what with her, you will be happy to know that Wachowski Brothers will be doing a live action version. Oh, and Trixie will be played by…..

  5. Last I heard, Emile Hirsch was playing the Speedster himself, John Goodman was down as Pops (with Susan Sarandon as his missis. Matthew Fox (of Lost fame) is mooted to be playing Racer X.
