Just because I’m a glutton for punishment..

We will be moving again. For those of you who actually read my little blog, you may remember that the weekend after Thanksgiving, we moved 160 miles away from friends and family to Lincoln, California. This was a job transfer to the Sacramento area. We were leasing our house in Lincoln and have recently (In January) found a house to buy in Roseville. Since the house is brand new, and we had to wait for it to be finished, we are now ready to close on the house and move. Again.
Did I mention, I hate moving. Thankfully, the move is a whole 10 miles from where we are currently living, and I ‘m excited at the prospect of living in a brand new house no one has ever lived in. Now is the time too pack up the belongings, gather friends and family, and high tail it to Roseville. My wife is excited, the kids are confused and I am already tired and I haven’t done a thing. Yet.
So, over the next few weeks, my blogging may be intermittent at best. I am not forsaking you, my blogamigos, just busy moving. Please send me pizza and Guinness. I will need all of the sustenance I can get. Besides, moving is much better when your drunk.

Oh yeah… that’s what I was supposed to do this weekend. Come up and help you move.

Exciting – but exhausting!
Of course it’ll be great when it’s over and done with… but I do sympathize (like crazy!) with the pain of moving. Next time I change place of residence, I swear, it’ll be when some guys in dark suits move me out of here in a satin-lined pine box!
