Jay over at Crazy Life, Makes Me Tired is putting the pressure on me today. A meme has been going around and I’m afraid I haven’t taken my antibiotics today so it appears I’ve caught it. The funny thing is, I was going to post today about motherhood and my experiences at Costco, but I think I can work that into this meme. Also, I wasn’t really clear on if she wanted my take on real moms or real dads, so I am doing real moms with a couple of real dads thrown in for good measure. Real Moms:

• are Sexy
• can take several children to Costco, juggle crying babies and still buy all the stuff they came to buy while keeping a sense of humor and pusing the cart out of the store by themselves. (Note to Costco: Maybe you should have volunteers to help, especially when the Mom has 2 or 3 kids she is trying to keep from being killed in the parking lot. Just a thought)
• pretend to love hanging out with the kids all day even if they really don’t.
• never say “NO” to their kids without explaining why.
• are true multi-taskers.
• are people too!
• try not to take sides when two kids don’t agree.
• need a day off. (Besides Mother’s Day)
• have the patience of Saints.
• will kill you if you threaten their children. (Predators and Perverts beware!)
• are the best!

Real Dads:

• Know when to shut up.
• Know when not to shut up.
• love their children as much as the moms do.
• will also kill anyone who threaten their kids.
• would never survive Costco with three screaming children.
• rock!
• love their wives.

That’s how I see it Jay! And because I never shut up, I could have gone on for a lot longer.
