Dear Hawaii….

Dear Hawaii,

Are time together is about to come to an end. We only have a few more days together before I have to leave you for another state. You have been most gracious to me and my family and you have been very kind to provide us with wonderful weather considering your other sister states back east have been very nasty to their inhabitants.

Your island of Maui has been an excellent host and we look forward to visiting with you soon. I cannot leave without making a couple of suggestions though.

  1. You might want to raise the speed limits above 35 miles and hour on most roads. We are already driving faster than is allowed and we would appreciate it if we were not breaking the law while we drive from point A to point B.
  2. What is up with your parking tickets? Oh, and I don’t think I’ll be paying it anyway. I was driving a rental car and you wrote the license plate down wrong. Suckers.
  3. Why don’t you throw in a really bad sunset every once in a while just to mess with us. I mean, come on, EVERY NIGHT AN AWESOME SUNSET? Doesn’t that get old?
  4. While your at it, throw in a cold day just to remind us of what home is like and why we like to come here.
  5. Lastly, keep on keeping on. Keep up the good work and we will see you soon.

I hope everyone gets to visit Hawaii once in their lives. It really is a beautiful state with beautiful people and the best part is, there is no currency exchange.

Peace.
