Nostalgia visits the Dad2twins house.

Do you remember this as a kid?

Well, I had totally forgotten about this stuff until my wife brought this home for the girls. Now I’m playing with it more than they are. Do you remember how you can flatten it out like a sheet of paper and rub it on a newspaper picture and it transfers to the silly putty?

Oh, and how high can you bounce a ball of silly putty? We have 25 foot ceilings in our entry and I bounced it high enough to hit the ceiling.

I know, I rock!

What? Okay, I’ll give it back to the kids.

  1. OK, so being that I am *roughly* the same age as you??? Also that I am a female sort, I will tell you, or possibly remind you…. that that stuff is DEADLY once it gets into HAIR!!! Or carpet from what my mother tells me.

So when you are not bouncing it around in your 25 ft high celiling’d rooms…. Make sure your girls aren’t palying with it unsupervised either. I’m just saying….. Shit happens you know.

  3. I was going to say the same thing. Don’t get it in your hair. Even if your mom tells you not to and you think she’s wrong and you decide to prove it.
