The pleasure of sick twins.

Last night was a night from hell. We had both girls explode into fevers and crying fits that left us without sleep all night as we tried to cool, calm and quiet the girls.
Thankfully we had a pre-scheduled 8:00AM doctors appointment this morning. Needless to say, after a night of restlessness, Reese gets up and acts as if nothing is wrong. The Doctor tells us she has an ear infection. Kiera had a fever of 101.7 when the Doctor took her temp. That was 2 hours after the Children’s Tylenol Fever Reducer medicine. Wow!
So a trip to the Pharmacy for Reese and Bed for both and we are on the road to recovery. Both Julia and I are hoping praying tonight is peaceful and we can get some rest.
Happy New Years to everyone and we hope 2007 starts off with a bang and no one has sick twins. Or sick children in general.

Oh, poor things. I hope they’re feeling better soon! Give them lots of hugs and kisses.

Having sick twins is like having a charley horse. It just feels so good after it is over.
