I love this time of year. Thanksgiving is all about.. well giving thanks of course. And about the food. Oh, the food. I just love the food.
Our family has grown over the past decade to include husbands and wives, children and in-laws, friends and far off relatives. We have about 23 coming for Christmas eve dinner and about 13 for Thanksgiving. For us, that is a lot.
As my mind turns away from the move that has occupied a good part of my time lately, I am starting to think about Christmas presents for the girls and my wife, and my family. But I need your help. Yes you. Yes, I mean you. You. Yes.
My wife and I want to get our girls those tricycles that have the handle that helps them along. We have looked at the Radio Flyer and the Kettler Kettrikes. Besides the fact that Radio Flyer is USA and Kettler is Germany. (If you read this blog enough you know what I mean), I/we are having a dilemma. Which one’s to buy. Yes, we need two. *Duh*
Do any of you have any experience with any of these? Are there other brands we should consider? Safety concerns? Should be move on to something else all together?
Help me please.
Thank you.
Oh, and if you have any ideas for my wife, I’m all ears.

Well I’m sure the Radioflyer one would be super cool for them. But we just have the plain old plastic ones. Made by First Step, or Fisher Price, or whoever, I’m really not sure. We bought them second hand at our twin sale. And the girls love to ride them! But… me being 6 feet tall, and my hubby 6’2″… they are kind of a pain to hold on to. Like strollers, they just are NOT made for tall parents! But the girls LOVE them!
