Finally! Sale Pending. Thank you St. Joseph?

We finally got an offer we liked on our house and we are now officially “Sale Pending” We have to be out by November 28th. We are leaving the Bay Area for the Auburn, CA area.
I’m sure it was the 24 hour bathroom remodel that did it. Or it might have been the discussion with Kara I had about burying St. Joseph in our yard. I’m not Catholic (and I don’t think she is either) but she told me that she heard that if you bury St. Joseph in your yard that it would lead to a home sale quickly. Realtors believe this stuff apparently as much as Catholics because you can buy For Sale Kits with a St. Joseph statue and prayer card. Go figure. So I will credit Kara for getting our house sold since we talked about St. Joseph. I figure that must be enough for us non-Catholics to have Saintly sales luck.
So now the hard work begins. Finding a place to live and moving us the 150 – 200 miles from everything I know. At least the farty pants twins won’t have a clue what hit them.

Congratulations!! I jsut want to let you know, we moved in August 2005, and our girls didn’t even bat an eye. Thye were the LEAST affected by the transition. But we only moved a few blocks. I hope you find a house fast, and everything goes smoothly for you.
