You found your way to San Jose….

As a resident of San Jose I found myself torn between to worlds last weekend. I love to write this blog and I love racing. Last weekend we had the Grand Prix race of San Jose and BlogHer. For those of you who follows racing (as I do) I was a bit disappointed in the Grand Prix of San Jose. Maybe it is because I love Formula 1 racing and the Cart race in San Jose just seemed to be a let down. Maybe it was the heat.
For those that went to BlogHer, it sounds like it was the place to be. Unfortunately I chose racing. Next year I may chose BlogHer. It appears to me from all of the Mom Blogs I read that those of you who went had a great time. It also sounds like there was a lot of talk of boobs at this show. I didn’t know BlogHer was an offshoot of a stripper convention in Las Vegas. I guess that comes with the territory when you get a bunch of moms in a room. (Especially those still lactating) For the guys that attended, I would love to hear a male perspective of the convention. Or maybe you are still coming down off the boob high.
I also must apologize to Sarah (of Goon Squad Fame) for not making the effort to meet her in “Real Life”. We did exchange cell phone numbers, but my free time was limited and after watching the racing I felt the pressure of my Dadly duties to return home and relieve my wife of the extra weekend duty she took on so that I may have some “Fun”.
So to all you Mommy BlogHers out there, San Jose is a better place since you have graced us with your presence. Our local newspapers have nothing but nice things to say about your visit. I only wish there would have been some real debauchery and you would have put us on the map like say Mardis Gras is to New Orleans. Oh well, maybe next year.
