I just have to remember it’s not Lebanon.

I just get back from having my ISP down for a few days and we get hit with the heat wave that is gripping most of California and other states as well. (Oh yea, Remember that there is NO global warming people) anyway, we are having 112 degree days and guess what? Our power goes out. Our house reaches 96 degrees inside and the kids were dying. we packed up and went to the folks house. Nice pool, air conditioning and my Parents waiting on us. Should have left sooner. Anyway, we went back and forth to our house to check to see if the power is back on and today (Monday morning) when we arrived it was on. 5 minutes after we got home it went out again. I bailed on work to help my wife with the girls and we went to my sisters house to stay in the air conditioning there. We finally decided to come back to our house to see if the power is back on and PG&E (The electric company) was in our yard fixing the transformer on the pole in our backyard. Power is now back on and the PG&E guys tell me that California is in a stage 3 alert and is starting rolling brown outs. The last for an undetermined amount of time and the computer decides who gets screwed. Just because we have been without power for 48 hours does not exempt us from the brown outs. Just remember we live in a first world country.
So anywho, I can’t guarantee that I will be doing any more posts anytime soon. in case you care. Oh and thank god I’m not living in Lebanon.
Peace.
