I have an illustrator. My friend Lisa has agreed to do all of the illustrations for the book. I ran the plot line by her with all of the character sketches and she loved it. BUT! Since I am a rather new Dad,(Coming up on the big 1st birthday) I have been told there is some books called Captain Underpants. I hope my humor does not compete, but when the plagiarism lawsuit comes down, I can honestly say that I had never heard of Captain Underpants or read any of the books.

In the meantime, I am starting to write and will preview some of it here in the future. My question to all of you is, what age group do you feel is under served. I have been told that I should write for the 2 - 5 yr range. Basically, leading up to kindergarten. Any thoughts? Let me know.
