It’s Escargot right? »

Kiera decided to eat a garden snail today. It was all foamey and everything. She was sucking on it like we would eat candy. Yuck! She better not start requesting only French food. Grocery stores get smart. »

Our local Safeway grocery store finally has shopping carts for kids. Here is Kiera and Reese driving while we shop. I love the fact that they are entertained, but how many parents out there feel like they have Rock Stars for kids? We can’t go into a store without getting mugged by people who just [...]

It won’t stop raining – Let’s go to IKEA? »

My wife has loaded up the kids and hit the local IKEA so that she can get out of the house. We can’t go to the parks because it hasn’t stopped raining in forever. At least not long enough to go outside and play when the kids are not napping. Jeez, we live in California [...]

Forget about the kids, Formula 1 season is in full bloom. »

Okay, I can’t really forget about the kids. And I don’t want to, but I can’t wait until they get as excited about Formula 1 racing as I do. And if they don’t – “Go outside and play. Daddy is watching Formula 1.” That’s right, I am NOT a Nascar Dad. I just can’t get [...]

Daylight savings time vs. kids sleeping habits. »

I thought for sure that with daylight savings time arriving, we would receive the benefit of an extra hour of sleep. Here’s why? Kid’s normally wake up at 5:00am or so, before daylight savings time. Spring forward 1 hour for daylight savings time and we know have 6:00am right? Oh, No! How wrong I was. [...]
