11 months old and counting

Wow, we made it to 11 months and we have not killed the kids or each other (YET!). We are in full scale planning mode for the big 1 year celebration which started out as a small family birthday party and has blossomed into a major media event. At last count my wife had 50 people on the list. And she was the one who wanted to keep it small. I haven’t seen this much planning since our wedding so many years ago. I guess this is what we do. I hope to have 11 month old pictures up soon.
The girls are surfing. I just learned this term. We are not talking about the ocean here folks, as most Mom’s out there already know. For you Dad’s out there, this means they are almost walking, but not quite. They crawl to furniture and then walk around it until they get bored. Then they fall down and crawl to the next piece of furniture and then repeat. Oh, and they throw all of the stuff off of the furniture that they can get their hands onto. Fun!
Anyway, we are really starting to enjoy watching them learn and continue to grow. I just have to step up the baby proofing of our house. Add that to my project list.
