Oh my god, I should start charging for this.

If you come to my house I may start charging and admission fee for the comedy show that can break out at any time. When you have twins, you get twice as many opportunities for the funniest baby laughs as all those poor souls with only ONE child get. Hey, I’m sorry you only had ONE kid. You should have tried harder.

Anyway, our house has become comedy central. My wife and I are pretty mellow. We kind of let life happen in front of us instead of directing. I’m sure we will pay for this later on, but for now it is fun to just sit back and laugh. And boy do we laugh. I have two daughters, as readers of this blog may already know. One is the “Sweet” daughter and the other is the “Less than sweet” daughter. I love them both equally. When they get going, they can cause side splitting laughter better than the best comedians. And when you get them together with other kids, the already know how to gang up on the poor kids and tag team them into submission. (Editor’s note: Do not call social services, we will have this corrected before we let them out of our sight). Now the bonus, we we get their two cousins together with them (all under 2 1/2 years of age and female) then watch out. We live in the Willow Glen area of San Jose and have fondly renamed all four kids the Witches of Willow Glen.

So if you are the parents of twins. Start thinking about charging admission. It may just offset the extra cost of raising two together instead of one.
