It does get easier over time.

Hey all of you new Dads out there. As a father of 9 and one half month old twin girls, I just wanted to say, it does get easier over time. If you have read my earlier postings, you surely realize it was a bit of a trial of patience getting through the first few months of our children’s lives. Lot’s of screaming and visits to the Doctors and waiting and wondering if it would ever get easier. It does! My wife and I are truly enjoying the progress our kids are making with their development. New teeth, attempts at crawling, talking, eating, drinking. It is all good.
I was often told by complete strangers, that it does get easier and I can report back to you… they were right. But remember, it doesn’t get any cheaper. So in the coming months, I have to step up to the plate and make sure I have a Will in place, I start planning for all of those things that the kids will need and don’t even get me started about college and marriage.
I know they are only 9 months old, but hey, if I don’t start planning now, I will not have listened to the other bit of advice I get from complete strangers…. ” They grow up so fast.”

Okay, I’m not a Dad, but I am a Mom of twins and it gets easier (so far anyway). For me:
1) The first three months were hell.
2) 3-6 months was very difficult
3) 6-9 months was hard
4) 9 - 12 months was tough, but exciting and more do-able
5) 12 + - I feel like I’ve gotten more of a handle on things, as long as we don’t leave the house alone.
