The first month after after the kids come home from the hospital.

As my Wife and I settle into parenthood, we begin to realize that sleep was a luxury we no longer can afford. The kids sleep a lot in the first month. Just not at the same time. Well, most of the time it is the same time. It just seems like we are being tag teamed to a slow death. We feed, change, bathe, and repeat for each kid.

They are so cute. We love them. My Wife is still recovering from the trama of childbirth. She is my new hero. I would NOT want to do what she did. Root Canals, removing cavities without novocane, no problem. Childbirth, PASS!

We both realize we have not eaten at the dinner table in weeks. For that matter, we have not eaten dinner in weeks. Wait, we need to eat.

We are about to find out that are lives are going to change for the worse. Not because of anything drastic. No pending deaths, just a slow realization are kids have colic. or do they? The mystery to be continued…
