Making it home from the hospital.

I own a Subaru Forrester. This is a great car. I love all the safety features and the fact that it comes with all wheel drive. This is not a story about my car though.
Back-up a little. When your in the hospital maternity ward, they tell you to take all the free stuff they give you and pack it out daily. That way, the nurses reload you up with the good stuff all over again. By the time you are ready to leave the hospital, you have so much stuff that you need your own Sherpa. With twins, you need two Sherpas to hall out the stuff. After a week in the hospital maternity ward, you need several Sherpas. So back to my beloved car.
As I load my Wife, two kids, and all the stuff we take from the hospital, my car is now groaning with it’s overloaded storage area. The kids take up the whole back seat area and my wife and her stuff squeeze into the passenger seat. I have had to move the from seat forward so much, that I can barely get into the car. It is at this moment, that i realize my car, the beautiful Subaru Forrester, is NOT beg enough for my family. My wife laughs, agree’s and we drive home uncomfortably, but laughing.
Little did we realize, that this will be the last time we laugh for some time and within a few months, my wife’s car goes bye, bye and we start the search for the dreaded minivan. Oh how my life is changing.
